There are millions of people struggling with the same health problems as you.

The AICS app is currently in a limited beta.

About

Fatigue. Pain. Brain fog. Depression. You have an autoimmune disease. You've gone to the doctor, you've done lab tests, you've changed your diet, you've taken medications and supplements. It's not enough.

We're here to help. There are over 50 million Americans with an autoimmune disease and they're currently struggling individually or in small groups. We leverage the cumulative knowledge and experiences of the entire autoimmune disease community to help you to improve your quality of life. Our objective as a community is to organize the information provided by citizen scientists like you and make new discoveries based on trends observed across thousands of users. Join AICS and let's work together to break the cycle.

Tracking

Hundreds of symptoms, dozens of lab tests, multiple diets, and more pills than you can keep track of.
Bring order to the chaos.

Choose the symptoms that you want to track and we'll help you visualize the change over time. By putting all your metrics (qualitative and quantitative) on one graph, you can clearly and quickly discover correlations. It's easy to digest at a high level but the details are still there. Try clicking on a data point.

Collaboration

Share data (anonymously!), investigate correlations, try new things, and discuss results.
See what works.

You are not alone! Other users will be tracking alongside you. Inform yourself on what's working for others. No more sifting through forums or endlessly searching the web. See the correlations for yourself based on real anonymous data from fellow citizen scientists. Try clicking the intersections of symptoms and treatments for more details.

Impact of various treatments (medications, diets, supplements, etc.) on symptoms and lab values aggregated for all users.

Research

Increase awareness and drive new research using aggregate data from the autoimmune community.
Make a difference.

Together we can combat the biggest hurdle facing autoimmune disease research. Citizen scientists will manage their own experiments and data while we take care of organizing anonymous community statistics for research application. With over 50 million autoimmune disease patients in America alone, your efforts will directly contribute to new research and discovery.

NIH estimates annual direct health care costs for autoimmune diseases to be in the range of $100 billion. In comparison, cancer costs are $57 billion, and heart and stroke costs are $200 billion.

NIH research funding for autoimmune diseases in 2015 came to $850 million. In comparison, cancer funding came to $5.4 billion; and heart and stroke, to $2.5 billion.

Research discoveries of the last decade have made autoimmune research one of the most promising areas of new discovery.
